    smugmug photography meetup

    Borrowing liberally from Alex Garza's (onibla.com) twitter (@alexgarza) posts, the night can be summarized as follows:
    • Houston, we have an awesome community of photogs! Thx U all 4 coming 2nite 2 our @SmugMug meetup. Also BIG thx 2 @JRCohen & @CoffeeGroundz
    • Speech by JR Cohen about social media and paying it forward.
    • Community isn't about yourself.
    • I'm still buzzing off of how awesome last night's @SmugMug Houston meetup went. @JRCohen reminded all of us it's not bout us. #SLGT
    And I am the brave (stupid) soul who photographed photographers.  I was told that we'll have critiques of our work soon, was that a hint to put my camera away?

    Sorry I'll miss the March meet - looking forward to April's - check out the Houston SmugMug Meetup.
